This project began as a client-commissioned piece to use in a showroom.  While searching in Austin’s Habitat Restore, I came across something that looked like twin-sized headboards… and knew this would be a perfect starting point for my client’s needs!

After cleaning and painting these pieces, they looked a little drab, so I decided to incorporate a MCM-inspired trim element. With the addition of some tapered legs, these consoles are perfect.

One can be found in the Esperos Austin showroom and the other two in the home of my friend, Jenni, owner of Faulkner Decorating.
